I’m just over a week into camp life and am loving it! The volunteers already here gave us a really warm welcome and the staff really make you feel right at home. I think we’ve bonded really quickly. There’s a really good atmosphere on camp, generally over lunch and over dinner everyone catches up on what they’ve done over the day and any animals that were spotted. I’ve found the surveys really interesting and seen some amazing animals so far; the staff  have a great knowledge on such a variety of animals that makes every walk interesting. They’ve also been really helpful in relation to my BTEC. The camp took part in a local festival over the weekend which was really good fun it was great to see the local kids get really interested in the turtle information on offer. I can tell already that I’ll be sad to leave!
