I went to Ghana with Frontier and did the teaching project for a month, July 2011.

Pre-departure,
I felt that Frontier allowed me to independently organise myself with the knowing that they were always there for the question!! The new website makes filling the forms out much easier and allows you to be more organised.

I had an amazing time, I was collected by the host, Sam and automatically felt welcomed and safe. As soon as we got to the school it was overwhelming how excited the children were to meet me. I taught a variety of lessons throughout the month to ages 2-14 years old. The enthusiasm that these children have to learn is overwhelming and encourages you to enhance their learning and understanding futher.

I had the chance to travel around Ghana at the weekends, going on Safari, climbing the highest mountain in Ghana, swimming under the highest waterfall in West Africa and visiting Cape Cost castle and learning about the slave trade.

Overall this trip which was well organised by Frontier and was an amazing eye-opening experience. Thank you.
